When We Are Closed
There is a service available for 'out of hours' (i.e. when the centre is closed) provided by the partnership of East London Co-operatives (PELC). PELC's Telephone Advice Service is in operation between 18:30 - 08:00.
The surgery is closed in the afternoon every second Tuesday of the month for training. The calls will be diverted to PELC service from 1:30 in the afternoon until 8:00 in the next morning.
Visits can be organised by ringing the number 111. The doctors who staff PELC are all experienced local GPs.
When you phone the surgery "after hours" you will here a recorded message which will tell you which number to ring. Please have a pencil or pen to hand as there is usually more then one number to take note of.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
