Noticeboard

We are currently accepting new patients. Please bring along your ID and ask for a GMS1 form.  We will be happy to register you.

To protect our other patients and staff please do not visit our surgery if you are suffering from flu like symptoms, diarrhoea or vomiting in the last four days.  The doctors will be happy to do a telephone consultation.  Ask reception for details.

Help the NHS reduce spending by only ordering what you need on your prescription.  Please let the staff know if you no longer require a medication.  This will enable the NHS to reallocate funding. Thank you for your help.

The Patient Group hold patient education evenings.  Please contact them via e-mail orsee the notice board for more information NMCPATIENT.GROUP@NHS.NET

Mrs Mary Noonan (m)

MANAGEMENT OF PATIENT HEALTH AND ILLNESS

Mary is employed to deliver a high standard of patient care as Nurse Practitioner in general practice, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.

Mary provides the first point of contact within the Practice for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, making use of skills in history taking, physical examination, problem-solving and clinical decision-making, to establish a diagnosis and management plan.

Mary can help or instigate necessary invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests or investigations and interpret findings/reports.

Mary is an independent prescriber.  We monitor her safe, effective and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework.  We ask Mary to prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately, including initiation of effective emergency care.

Promote health and well-being through the use of health promotion, health education, screening and therapeutic communication skills.

If you need to see a clinician to renew your prescription please feel free to book an appointment with Mary, which will leave your GP to deal with more acute problems.
